Chapel

The school is not affiliated to any particular religious denomination, but is, through its Foundation, a specifically Christian school and has its own Anglican Chaplain.

Religious education at St George's is distinctively Christian and pupils are expected to attend the School Chapel during the week and on certain Sundays each term, as a condition for entry to the school. Many parents also choose to attend our Sunday Services. Pupils also have the opportunity to be prepared for Confirmation in the Church of England; an annual Confirmation Service is held in the School Chapel and other Christian festivals are marked by special services during the year.

The school also has a student-run Christian Fellowship called "More to Life". Since the opening of St George's in 1907, the school has had a total of 16 Chaplains, including Rev S Warner who is currently the school's Chaplain.
