Trips and Visits

PGL - La Fosca Spain

St George’s School has always offered a huge range of different trips and visits to enrich the learning experience of our students and we would like to continue to develop this strength. However, we are also very aware that in the present financial climate this can put some families under enormous pressure.

To help with this process we have attached a list of all the trips for the school year, 2016-17, that involve a charge so that parents can plan and budget for trips during the forthcoming year. Please bear in mind that some of these trips may not run again and others may cost more, or even less, as we seek to find the most cost effective options to enhance our students learning.

We are fortunate to have local trusts and charities that can provide bursaries to help with the cost of school trips and visits to qualifying families. Please contact myself or the trip leader if you would like further information.

The list does not, of course, include a whole host of other trips that we do not charge for such as sports fixtures and local visits.

If you have any questions regarding trips and visits please do not hesitate to contact the school. If you have a particular issue regarding finance please contact the finance office on 01582 765477 or email financeoffice@stgeorges.herts.sch.uk.
