Welcome to St George’s. It is my hope that this website will convey something of the richness and enjoyment of life at this successful school.

St George’s provides an excellent learning environment as a fully co-educational day and boarding school. Visitors to the school are struck by the disciplined yet caring atmosphere and the mature relationships between pupils and all who work and live in its attractive g rounds. There is a sense of real purpose and harmony based on Christian principles and our traditions,

and revealed in such personal qualities as consideration,

service and endeavour.

We value academic achievements highly but appreciate that other qualities are equally likely to lead to success later in life. By offering a wide range of experiences both with in the classroom and through extra-curricular activities, we encourage all of our pupils to “Aim Higher”.
