Have fun whilst making a difference to your child’s education – get involved in the PSA Community
The PSA is an integral part of life at St George’s. It brings parents and staff together to raise vital funds and build a strong school community whilst having plenty of fun along the way. Every parent automatically becomes a PSA member when their child joins the school so you’re already part of the team!
Our PSA Community
- Raises essential funds for projects that directly benefit students – from new facilities to extra resources.
- Runs events that bring people together and helps to build our community including the Summer Fête, Christmas Fayre, Quiz Nights, the Christmas Ball, pre-loved uniform sales, sewing groups, painting days and more!
- Creates opportunities for parents to connect with others, to feel good about contributing and feel part of your child’s school life.
Why get involved?
The PSA isn’t “something other people do.” It’s made up of parents and staff who are just like you – they are busy, juggling lots, sometimes unsure of what they’ve signed up for, but always glad they did.
Being active in the PSA helps you stay connected to your child’s school life, meet new friends, and give back in ways that fit around you – from donating a raffle prize or running a stall, to baking a cake or joining the committee. There is a role for everyone, regardless of the time you have available. We can’t do it without you!

- Microbit gadgets for the Maths Department
- Installation of 6th form courtyard canopy
- Funding of Activities Week for Y10
- Refurbishment of the Student Services pastoral area

- Ice creams for staff in the heatwave!
Future fundraising goals include the total upgrade of the Assembly Hall to enhance the experience for all including a new floor, new stage, and replacing old furniture with more comfortable seating.
