Sixth Form Destinations 2020

St George’s begins the process of post 18 options in September of Year 12, encouraging students to consider all avenues and launching Google Classroom, enabling students to engage with “super-curricular” activities.

Analysis of records in early September 2020 shows that:

  • 173  students will begin undergraduate courses in 2020.
  • 30 students have decided to take a gap year, of which 21 students have deferred entries for undergraduate courses in 2021.
  • 1 student has entered a sponsored degree paid for by PwC.
  • 1 student received a full sporting scholarship to study at Northern Kentucky University, USA.
  • 1 student was offered a place at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
